Book Talk & Kintsugi demonstration in Amsterdam

Book Talk and Kintsugi Demonstration

Friday, 5 June
17:00
Scheltema, Rokin, Amsterdam

My book YOSHUKU: The Japanese Art of Manifesting has now been published in 10 languages, thanks to my primary publisher, Penguin Random House UK. The Dutch edition is also now available from AW Bruna Uitgevers.

Amsterdam is a very special place where I have spent a significant part of my life—a city that holds many chapters of my personal journey and growth.

As a conceptual artist, my aim is to bring my writing into a multi-dimensional, lived experience. In YOSHUKU, I explore daily rituals and seasonal themes for personal development through artistic and creative practices.

One of the key elements I will share in this talk is Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold. I use Kintsugi as both a tangible healing practice—restoring broken objects—and an intangible one, supporting emotional healing and transformation.

During the event, I will also demonstrate my signature Kintsugi method for personal healing, using my new Kintsugi Repair Kit from Humade.

I look forward to seeing you on Friday.
