The sun resides in the depth of my soul.
Born & raised in the land of rising sun,
I instinctively honor its glow, its power.
The sun, the divine energy, architect of our life is our very essence
Japanese ancient Shinto mythology illustrates
the goddess of the sun, Amaterasu Ōmikami,
the queen of celestial sphere.
The sun and the dance of the light and shadow of New York
somehow awakened my inner goddess.
I was initiated by the the power of the sun.
And this series of artwork
HINODE, the sunrise in Manhattan was born.
Within each golden circle of the sun, the goddess resides.

The sun sparked the creation of my series of artwork titled "HINODE" the sunrise in Manhattan 2022, as the power within me was awakened here in NYC. Continuously, I painted the sun, embodying the divine energy in our lives — our life force energy. it’s in my DNA to worship the power of the sun.
Drawing inspiration from the goddess of the sun, Amaterasu Ōmikami, in Japanese ancient mythology of Shinto.
Within my golden circle of the sun, she resides.
