How Japanese SALON started...

Inspired by the 18th century European literary Salon movements, "Japanese SALON" was born out of Azumi's passion to share the essence of Japanese ancinet wisdom at a historical Dutch venue. The first SALON was organised in January 2009.

Various themes are available and New Year calligraphy is one of the popular themes in January. Japanese High Tea in the afternoon, Sake tasting, private art vernissages are other examples.

Over the years, Azumi has produced numerous Salons & workshops for private clients and for luxury brands, art & design companies, hotels. Customers such as Chopard, Marlies Dekker, Hotel Okura and Marcel Wanders Studios hired Azumi in the past years.
